VOLUNTEERS

  • DPDO is looking for a graphic designer interested in helping create our 2009 Annual Report. We have all information and photos ready, but are looking to present them in an aesthetically pleasing way. If you are interested, we can show you our 2008 Annual Report to use as a guideline. 

    Deadline: end of March, ideally 

    Budget: We are looking for a volunteer designer or intern to work on a pro-bono basis. If you are interested in building your design portfolio and gaining references, as well as helping out a great cause, please contact us. We would prefer a designer who lives in the Washington, DC area so we can occasionally meet with you to share ideas. 

 

  • DPDO welcomes volunteers for short- or long-term work at the Washington, DC office. The organization has a variety of administrative and outreach projects that would benefit greatly from the energetic assistance of committed volunteers. Please contact: katherine@darfurpeace.org, 202-393-8150.
  • DPDO is also seeking an experienced graphic designer to create, on a pro bono basis, a simple cookbook for the Solar Cookers Project.
