April 17- An Evening of Song for Darfur with Tom Chapin, Christine Lavin and Dave Sear

The Unitarian Universalist Congregations of Shelter Rock and Huntington, in cooperation with the Long Island Darfur Action Group (LIDAG), will be holding A Song for Darfur on Friday night, April 17^th at 8:00pm. The event, a mix of great folk music and award-winning documentary clips, features folk singers Tom Chapin, Christine Lavin and Dave Sear and will raise money for textbooks and educational material for the children who are affected by the ongoing genocide in Darfur. The event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, Long Island, NY 11030.

Tickets are $25 each. All proceeds go to the Darfur Peace and Development Organization for the Darfur Schools Program.
