History: Fashar School is located in the Arab community of Mellit near El Fasher, the capital of Darfur. The school was established for children who were displaced due to the conflict in Darfur. Fashar School provides co-educational opportunities from first through eighth grade. The classrooms at Fashar school are either constructed of local materials or held in waterproof tents.
Needs:Fashar School is in need of additional blackboards and construction materials for a teacher’s office. Their water availability is limited, so a new well must be dug closer to the school.
